The Mummy Collected Rs. 150 Crores, Worldwide!

The Mummy (2017) is the reboot of the Mummy franchise that released in 2012. It is an action, horror, comedy cum thriller film directed by Alex Kurtzman and it features Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance, Russell Crowe and Marwan Kenzari. Although the film was highly expected, many people negatively commented that Tom Cruise would not suit the role and he had to work in his usual genres. As per the comments by some people, the film has been facing negative criticism. But, the box office collection has no drawbacks at all. The film had collected Rs. 150 Crores on the first day at the box office. It is to be noted that The Mummy has collected Rs. 100 Crores at the Chinese box office.
