and team, they had been taken enough measures to kill piracy. The TFPC and the Tamilnadu Theater Owners’ Association Secretaries had released a statement jointly to stop piracy. Here are the measures to be followed:
CCTV cameras should be installed in the theaters before 6th November, Diwali. The cameras should be fixed in the parking lots, in and out the screening premises
All the CCTV cameras should work without any hurdle for 24 x 7
A resolution had been passed that the theaters that don’t install the CCTV Cameras before 15th November will not be permitted to screen the films
All the shows will have two supervisors to check piracy
Before the film screening, an awareness video will be shown regarding piracy and how the pirates will be punished legally
The audiences will be checked if they have any camera with them
A team that comprises of the TFPC and Theater Owners Association will be set up to discuss and solve the issues regarding the piracy
