Soori’s First Look From Mandaadi Revealed

Soori’s  first look from his next movie is out.

The movie is named Mandaadi, and it will be directed by Mathimaran Pugazhenthi of Selfie fame [not the Akshay Kumar Akshay Kumar was born on 9th September 1967 and hi >> Read More... one]. The movie is a rural sports drama, which revolves around a sailing competition. There are also reports that Achyuth Kumar Achyuth Kumar was born in Bangalore. He has acted >> Read More... and Sathyaraj might be joining the film, though an official update is yet to be made.

This will be Soori’s 8^th movie as a lead actor. After starring in multiple movies as a comedian, the actor made his debut as the lead actor in Viduthalai, directed by Vetrimaaran. Soori played the role of Kumaresan, a constable whose paths crosses with a vigilante Perumal, played by Vijay Sethupathi.

The movie turned out to be commercially, as well as critically successful. Soori starred in three movies last year, which were Garudan, Kottukaali, and Viduthalai Part 2. He was one of the few actors who managed to save the prestige of Tamil cinema by delivering successful movies with Garudan and Viduthalai Part 2.

Soori is currently awaiting the release of two important projects : Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, and Maaman, which are expected to be released within 2025.
