GV Prakash and Rajiv Menon's Sarvam ThaalaMayam teaser has just released and the 1 minute and 5 second teaser leaves you wanting for more. The first thing that catches the eye is the name Rajiv Menon. It is Rajiv's return to cinema after almost 18 years. STM has GV playing a carefree north madras-ish Vijay fan who loves music. His flair for drums and the harmonica are evident from the teaser.
Aparna Balamurali looks like the classy woman we see in very few Tamil films these days and there is Kumaravel who plays GV's father. The most strikingly important component seems to be Rahman's score. With STM being a musical film, this could probably prove to be the backbone and the film seems to have some really good beats throughout. Not much of the core plot is revealed in the teaser and rightly so. GV Prakash seems to be playing around with kids throughout and this could mean that he is child like at heart. The fights he gets into, the shot that has him standing outside the temple could all add up as a new flavour in GV's films. With his name being Peter, he is seen standing outside a temple and this could mean that STM might have casteism in music as one of its themes. Stay tuned for the trailer before the release. STM will hit screens on December 28, 2018.
