Sai Prashanth, the TV cum cinema star ended his life by mixing poison in his drink on Sunday. His family life was not happy and in depression, he took this decision. Started his career at a tender age of 15, this guy impressed everyone by his witty nature. He has performed in almost all the serials by Radan Media Network, run by Radhika Sarathkumar. Radhika says, “I was shocked when I heard the news. I have always encouraged him and never expected him to give up on life so easily. His mother told me to take care of him, and he used to come to me often for advice. I met Sai and spoke to him last week, too. I don't know what made him take such a drastic step.” Ashwin Kakumanu, the “Megha” star says, “I met him for the first time on the sets of Megha. I remember him as a very straightforward and grounded person. Being a child artiste, he had a vast experience and understanding of the industry. He used to encourage me a lot during the shooting and gave me several inputs. We shared a good rapport till the completion of the film.” “Nalini,” the president of Chinna Thirai Nadigar Sangam says, “It is sad that actors of the younger generation have only a little patience to deal with their day-to-day issues. Someone like Sai, a multi-talented artist, losing out to life is disheartening and unbelievable. The Chinna Thirai Nadigar Sangam has decided to call a meeting to decide on what could be done to avoid such incidents. I think counselling will help artists who are depressed, to a great extent. We aim to come up with a plan very soon.”
