Rumors On Indian 2! Filmmakers Confirm!

Indian 2 is the sequel to Indian directed by “S Shankar” and featuring Kamal Haasan, “Sukanya,” Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar and “Kasthuri.” The star cast for the sequel is not yet selected. LYCA produces the film. It was rumored that “Nayantara” had been approached to play the female lead and “Vadivelu” has been zeroed as the comedian. But, the sources close to the makers confirmed that they are all rumors and confirmed that Vadivelu is not doing. Already Vadivelu didn’t have good terms with Shankar and the director had registered a complaint on him for walking out from his production venture, creating a huge loss. But, none has said about Nayantara. Probably, she might be in talks with the makers. If she accepts the role, this will be her first film with Kamal Haasan. Nayan has shared the screen space with “Rajinikanth,” thrice; in Chandramukhi as his pair and in “Kuselan” and “Sivaji,” she appeared for a song.
