The first meeting of the chamber of commerce was held today and President Ramanathan released a Press Note. Here is the Press Note for your view:

The core committee of the newly formed Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce met today under the chairmanship of its President Abirami Ramanathan and the following members attended. It was unanimous to adopt the decision taken already by Distributor Federation of Tamilnadu and all Theaters Owners Association. The decision being not to participate in any strike called by any Association on 30^th of May or any other date, since our beloved Chief Minister heard all our problems in a very sympathetic manner and also instructed the concerned officials to consider the request of the Film Industry favorably. To be specific the newly formed Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce will not participate in any strike of any sort since the Government is very favorable to us.
