Petrol And Diesel Price Hike After Twenty Days!

Following the wrap up of the elections in Karnataka, the petrol and the diesel prices have been hiked now. Petrol price is fixed Rs. 77.61 per litre and the diesel price is Rs. 69.79. As per the statement by the oil companies, the fuel prices remained stable from 24th April. The prices are hiked from today, 14th May. Petrol price is hiked by 18 paise and the diesel price by 23 paise. The new prices came into effect from 6 am today. It was spread that as there was an election in Karnataka, the oil companies didn’t raise the fuel price. But, the real status is not known clearly. However, from today, the petrol and the diesel prices will regularly be hiked by the oil companies.
