No Rajini And Kamal Films In Karnataka Hereafter – Sa Ra Govindu

Following the statement by Superstar “Rajinikanth” regarding the Cauvery issue, the Kannada Rakshana Vedhike leader Praveen Shetty stated that not only Kaala Karikalan, but they would never allow any Rajini films to be screened in Karnataka. Besides this, he also stated that even though Rajini apologize for his statement, they will not allow the film to screen in Karnataka. Meanwhile, Sa Ra Govindu, the Kannada Film chamber president stated that they have decided not to release Kamal Haasan and Rajini films in Karnataka. Govindu also stated that they have no qualms in releasing other heroes’ movies in Karnataka. It is to be noted that the Tamil Film Producers’ Council had a lot of hopes that they could convince the Kannada Film Chamber. When the issue was discussed, Govindu stated that Rajini was neutral when he was an actor, he turned one-sided when he became a politician.
