No Drinking Scenes Or Smoking Scenes In TSK!

Thaanaa Serndha Kootam team met the press and the media yesterday at the Hyatt Regency. During the Press Meet, Suriya Sivakumar wished “Rajinikanth,” Kamal Haasan and Vishal Reddy for their political entry. Suriya praised Vignesh Shivan, the director of Thaanaa Serndha Kootam for his efforts. When Vignesh Shivan approached Suriya, he discussed with the director “Hari,” his well-wisher, about doing the film with him. Hari instantly suggested Suriya commit in the film with Vignesh. Suriya also stated that Vignesh told a couple of scripts which he has for “Sivakarthikeyan” and Vijay Sethupathi. But, finally, they decided to go with the real-life incident that happened in the year 1987, which was inspired by the Bollywood film Special 26. But, Vignesh had completely changed the screenplay, says Suriya. Suriya also stated that the film doesn’t have any Smoking and Drinking scenes and so they didn’t use the No smoking and No drinking card before the title credits.
