Nilani was said to be in a live-in relationship with Gandhi Lalit Kumar. She decided to marry him, thinking that he is a genuine person. But, as she came to know that Lalit had contacts with a lot of women, she decided to leave him, says Nilani. As she denied marrying him, Gandhi Lalit Kumar committed suicide. The entire media had been focusing on Nilani and many people stated that she cheated the assistant director. Gandhi's family had also complained her that she is the reason for his death. Following this, she had attempted to commit suicide by drinking the mosquito repellent liquid. But, luckily, she is saved. Her kids don’t know what is happening around them and they are staying near their mom!
