Pondicherry government announced that the application forms for Medicine and Engineering would be available from 15^th May 2017. The students could apply online through the website www.centaconline.in. The final date for submission is 30^th May 2017. The students, who send the applications through the post, should submit them before 5^th June.

Ten people from Tamilnadu were arrested in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh for Redwood smuggling. It is reported that the police have seized 310 Kg of redwood worth Rs. Eight lakhs from the smugglers. A car used by those smugglers is also seized, informed the Andhra police. Although the government warns them and arrests a lot of people regarding this, the smugglers hadn’t stopped doing the illegal job.
