Nadigaiyar Thilagam Release Postponed! Nadigaiyar Thilagam/ “Mahanati” is the Tamil and Telugu bilingual biopic of the legendary actress late “Savitri,” which is directed by Nag Ashwin. The film, which was supposed to releases on 9th May, worldwide, is said to have been postponed by a couple of days. The Tamil version will be released on 11th May and the Telugu version will release, as scheduled. The film is cinematographed by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and the music composition is by “Mickey J Meyer.” Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role. Dulquer Salmaan plays Gemini Ganesan. Samantha Akkineni plays the documentary filmmaker Madhuravani and Vijay Deverakonda plays VijayAntony, her pair. Naga Chaitanya plays his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Besides these stars, the film has Prakash Raj, Bhanu Priya, Tanikella Bharani and many others.
