. Mersal Music is by “A R Rahman,” the Oscar Hero. As the word Mersal has become very popular, the producer of the film got the trademark right for the film title. If anyone uses the name, they have to pay a royalty to Thenandal. This is the first time a south Indian film gets the trademark and coincidentally it happened to be Vijay’s film.
