announced a theater strike. After the strike, the film industry people had a meeting with the ministers. Later, they withdrew the strike and run the films, as the peace talks with the government ended up positively. Now, they have again gathered at the Secretariat for the same Entertainment Tax. In this meeting, film fraternities including
Vishal Reddy
and Abirami Ramanathan are participating. Home secretaries and the secretaries for the industries are discussing with the film industry people regarding the Entertainment Tax.
