After seeing the video footage of the TASMAC Shops yesterday and today, the Madras High Court judges ordered to close the shops and permitted the online delivery of liquors from TASMAC. As they saw that the social distancing is not followed properly and many didn’t use masks, the judges had ordered to close the TASMAC Shops. So, until 17th May 2020, TASMAC shops should make only online sales.

Although the high court ordered to close the TASMAC shops and suggested the online sale, many feel that online sales should also be banned. Yesterday, a TASMAC shop in Tamilnadu witness a queue for 3 km. In many places in Tamilnadu, people raised their voices against the TASMAC Shops opening.
