Madhuvanti In A Negative Role!

Madhuvanti Arun, the daughter of “Y. G. Mahendra” made her silver screen debut in “Dharma Durai” as a cop. Although she had performed in mini screen and stage shows, Dharma Durai was her first silver screen attempt. After the success of the film, she has been booked doing a film with “Arya” in a negative role. “Kadamban” is the title of the film and the educationist cum actress enjoys playing the negative role. Madhuvanti feels proud to play in Kadamban, as she shares the screen space with her dad. Although she had done a lot of theatre plays with him, it was interesting to share the screen space with him, says Madhu. Besides this film, she plays in the remake of Kannada film, “Shivalinga.” She plays a CBCID officer in Shivalinga, which was played by Malavika Avinash in the original version. Raghava Lawrence plays the lead role and Ritika Singh plays his wife. Shakthi Vasudevan reprises the same role in original.
