Maari 2 To Release On This Special Occasion?

“Maari 2” is the upcoming movie scripted and directed by Balaji Mohan, who directed Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Maari. Maari 2 is the sequel to the 2015 movie Maari that had “Dhanush” and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles and Vijay Yesudas played the antagonist. Maari 2 has been completely wrapped up and the film is all set to release in December. Yet, the release date is not announced. Probably, it will be released on 21st December 2018 for the Christmas holidays. Dhanush’s next movie Vada Chennai will be releasing on October 17th and Enai Noki Paayum Thota directed by Gautham Menon will hit the screens on Diwali along with “Vijay” starrer “Sarkar.” Maari 2 star cast has Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Krishna Kulasekaran and Tovino Thomas along with Dhanush. Meanwhile, Dhanush has started directing his second movie in which he plays the lead role along with Akkineni Nagarjuna, “Srikanth,” SJ Surya, R Sarathkumar and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is produced by Murali Ramaswamy and Hema Rukmani under Thenandal Films banner. Sean Roldan composes the music.
