Yogeshwaran is one among the lakhs of protestors, who fought to lift the ban on Jallikattu. Many cities crumbled due to the protest. At a protest in Salem on 19th January, Yogeshwaran participated along with his friends. When he was protesting for Jallikattu on the train, he met an electric accident and was severely injured. He had been getting treatment at Government Hospital. Yesterday, he died due to a block in the blood vessel.

visited the boy's family at Salem and had promised them that he would take in charge of the educational expenses of Yogeshwaran’s sister Dhanalaxmi. Lawrence is very much affected by the death of the youngster.
