After the guy’s Twitter ID got blocked, Kasthuri thought that Twitter blocked him, following her complaint. So, she tweeted, “Thank you @TwitterIndia for taking immediate action against unruly elements. Thank you for making twitter a safer place for women, one abuser at a time. Thank you EVERYBODY who supported me and spoke up against targeted harassment. Goodbye, dirtbags. Get lost and stay lost.”

Later, the actress realized that it was not Twitter India that blocked him. So, she posted again, “Oh sorry twitter, seems you didn't do anything. You should have.
