Kaala’s Total Collection Is Lesser Than Mersal’s First Day Collection!

Kaala Karikalan, the latest film of Superstar “Rajinikanth” had been running in theaters with mixed reviews. Although it is not a failure film, many people said that Rajini should avoid doing Pa Ranjith movies. However, Kaala is better than “Kabali” said a lot of people. The film has Easwari Rao as Rajini’s pair and their chemistry had worked out well. Nana Patekar, “Samuthirakani,” Huma Qureshi and Anjali Patil were also in the cast, playing finely. However, Kaala didn’t collect well in Kerala, where “Mersal” created a stunning record. “Vijay” movie Mersal collected Rs. 6.3 crores on the first day of the release but Kaala’s total collection in Kerala is Rs. 6 crores. Mersal had the GST and Digital India dialogues that hyped the film to have a long run in theaters and it is the first south Indian film to gross Rs. 230 crores, worldwide.
