Gautham Menon Blames Karthick Or Puts An End To The Social Media War?

Gautham Menon was complained about cheating the young director Karthick Naren by just giving Rs. 5 Lakhs as an investment and asking for an equal share in his next film, “Naragasooran.” Gautham Menon attacked Karthick a lot through his social media pages without mentioning his named and Karthick politely replied him. Arvind Swamy, the hero of Naragasooran, shouldered Karthick in this issue. Now Gautham Menon posted a letter on his Facebook page. It starts, “Just when lots of positive movement was happening on Naragasooran, a tweet from my director Karthick Naren upset me and even though good sense prevailed through most of the day, lots of calls from the media upset me and I tweeted a reply. In retrospect, I feel I shouldn’t have. I apologise to Karthick for that.” Gautham Menon also has said, that he hadn’t interfered or even discussed the script with Karthick. He says that he had only insisted the team and the investors give Karthick, what he wanted. Gautham says that he brought in the actors requested by Karthick at very high costs and even the trailers, teasers and posters were at Karthick’s choice. He also stated, “We’ve spent a lot on the film through investors for which I’m liable and the business is not big enough to divert funds to another film like Dhruva Natchathiram, which is seven times bigger in size and is produced by someone else. I’ve not asked for 50% share of the profit on Naragasooran and I know I have no share on the film.” Gautham’s long reply doesn’t seem to end the fight but insulting Karthick. We have to wait if Karthick takes it lightly!
