Two Rig machines are brought to Nadukattupatti to drill a huge groove adjacent to the borewell, where the kid Surjith is struck. For the past four days, the rescue operations are on and Minister “C. Vijayabaskar” is in the site. It is heard that the kid is stuck in 100 ft and now, his body is covered by the sand and only his hands are seen. Yet, the oxygen is supplied in a hope that the kid survives. The visuals from the camera shows that there is no movement from the kid, stated the Minister and officials. Yet, they are trying their best to recover.
The rigging machines that drilled 45 feet groove adjacent to the borewell are struck with some issues and this has stopped the drilling now. Besides this, it is raining and hurdles the rescue works. However, Radhakrishnan IAS stated that they will not stop the rescue works and try to get the child out from the borewell.
