Catherine Tresa, who made her debut in Tamil with “Madras” with Karthik Sivakumar, directed by “Pa. Ranjith,” didn’t get good chance to show off her acting talent. After doing half dozen films in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, she made her entry to Tamil film industry. She expected that “Kathakali” with Vishal Reddy and “Kanithan” with “Atharvaa” would grab her right place in Kollywood. But, both the films disappointed her. However, her performance as a politician in the Telugu film, “Sarrainodu” with Allu Arjun raised her popularity significantly. The actress has been highly expecting the release of “Kadamban” with “Arya.” She is sure that she would get a good name for her performance in the film, as Lakshmi Menon was spoken for her role in “Kumki” with Vikram Prabhu. We have to wait and watch, how she had performed! Besides this film, Catherine plays with Vishnu Vishal in “Kathanayagan.”
