,” the DMK leader to choose a replacement for him from DMK. Wilson, Shanmugam and NR Elango filed the nomination from DMK and Chandrasekharan and Mohammad John filed nomination from ADMK. Anbumani Ramadas filed the nomination with the support of ADMK.
Besides them, there are four independent candidates filed their nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Those independent candidates are Padmarajan, Madhivanan, Agni Sri Ramachandran and N Natarajan. The candidates should get the proposal of 10 MLAs. If they are not proposed by the MLAs then their nomination will be rejected. If Vaiko’s nomination petition is accepted then Elangovan will withdraw his nomination petition.
