In a recent interview, the actress answer the question about why she never approached Malayalam cinema. Shilpa replied that while she admires Malayalam cinema, she always fears that she won’t be able to do justice to the standards set.

Nevertheless, the actress is a diehard fan of actor Mohanlal, and she hopes to work with him soon.
