Padayaatra Wraps Filming

The film titled Padayaatra has officially wrapped up filming. The movie reunited Mammootty and Adoor Gopalakrishnan after more than three decades. Mammootty and Adoor Gopalakrishnan worked on multiple projects together, with some even going on to win the prestigious National Awards.

Mammootty recently won the Padma Bhushan for his continuous service to Indian cinema. He is working on Patriot, which reunites him with Mohanlal after more than a decade.

Mammootty had last starred in the crime thriller Kalamkaval, loosely based on the Cyanide Mohan case. The movie co-starred Vinayakan as the main protagonist, and turned out to be the actor’s only successful venture throughout the year.
