Kalamkaval To Stream On OTT From This Date

After a successful run at the box office, Kalamkaval is all set to entertain the audiences on OTT.

The crime thriller will be streaming on the OTT platform Sony LIV from early January onwards. The movie is directed by debutant Jithin K Jose and stars Vinayakan, Rajisha Vijayan, and Shruthi Ramachandran in prominent roles, along with an extended cameo from Mammootty.

Kalamkaval is loosely inspired from the true case of serial killer Cyanide Mohan. Despite mixed reviews, the movie impressed the audiences, earning a staggering 83 crores worldwide on a modest budget of 25 crores.

This is phenomenal, given the movie released on the same day as the mega blockbuster Dhurandhar. This is also the only success for Mammootty this year, given that his other two ventures : Dominic and the Ladies Purse & Bazooka, didn’t turn out to be money spinners at the box office.
