Basil George, the young actor, died in a car accident at Valakom near Muvattupuzha on 3rd May 2020. The 30-year-old actor had been traveling on a car and as the driver lost control, the car hit the electric post on the road. Then the car crashed into a shop first and then a building, where some workers had been staying. In this accident, four of the workers in the building have been injured and they are admitted to the hospital.
It is heard that three people are killed, including Basil and five people are seriously injured. Basil played the lead actor in Poovalliyum Kunjadum, directed by Farooq Ahmed Ali. May their soul rest in peace! Our deepest condolences to their families! Let’s pray for the people who were getting treatment to get well soon!
