Daangadi is an upcoming Kannada movie. The movie shooting will commence during the new moon day on August 2, 2016. The movie shooting will commence in the vicinity of Belagavi. The movie is a production venture by Surendra Hugar. It is to be noted that he is a lecturer turned advocate.
The movie is a directorial venture by Dr Siddaram Karnick. He did the role of Dr. B R Ambedkar in the previous movie Mrs. Rama Bai. Dr Karnick said that the title of the movie is the name of a particular village in Odisha. He confirmed that everybody would understand the meaning of the title after watching the movie.
The movie’s director said that it is not the usual movie with action scenes and romance. The main characters in the movie are a bus driver and conductor. But, in the movie, one could passengers alighting and boarding the buss. The movie is related to a travel. Kanakalakshmi, who is a girl from Sirsi, and who has a theater background, she does the role of a princess in the movie.
