', a father of two, knew that one day he needs to set her daughters free to be with someone who will take care of them when they grow old. After her elder daughter Nirupama graduated her medical course, the actor is expecting that she will soon settle down. He said, in their family, the girls usually marry in an early age. But then, Nirupama told him that she would rather pursue higher studies. Though they are surprised, they let their daughter decide what she thinks is best for her.
But when Nirupama reached her second year of MS degree, she told her parents about her desire to get married. Shivarajkumar says he was not surprise at all as he is prepared about it. His only question is who the lucky guy is. Eventually, Nirupama told them about her classmate Dileep and the actor was wondering why she didn’t told them earlier, but Nirupama said she was waiting for the right time.
After this, he finally met his future son-in-law and his family. He said, "I am a very chilled-out person and had very informal conversations with Dileep, so much so that over time we have become good friends." When quiz when Dileep asked him formally for Nirupama’s hand in marriage, Shivarajkumar laughs and said, “Oh no, it was not that filmi”.
