Kurukshetra is a Kannada movie on the make and which has won much attention among the audiences. Of course, it is not usual that a movie wins attention such that the Chief Minister inaugurates the movie. But, indeed, the movie Kurukshetra needed such a treatment. The inauguration ceremony of the movie happened and the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah along with other political icions was there at the occasion. The title of the movie goes to infer that the movie is about the Kurukshetra which occurred in the Mahabharata. The mythological movie will have its shooting in both 2D, and 3D.
The movie is to be made with a huge budget. Many popular stars as Saikumar, Ambareesh, Sneha and Ravichandran are among the crew. There were politicians as BK Hariprasad, DK Suresh and V Ravichandran. The producer of the movie is MLA Munirathna Naidu. The movie schedules began as the Karnataka Chief Minister showed the green signal. The Challenging Star of Kannada cinema, Darshan is doing the lead role in the movie
