Umapathy cited Darshan and his team as having inflated the box-office figures for the film ‘Roberrt,’ which caused significant financial losses on his end. He added that during the pandemic, Darshan had rejected a big offer from the OTT platform, which resulted in a big loss for the producer. The producer denied Darshan’s statement and claimed that the title ‘Kaatera’ was registered in his name and then later transferred to Darhsan’s name in exchange for ‘Madhagaja.’
