Talking about his upcoming film Sarbjit, Randeep said that at least people need to be aware of all that happened to Sarbjit inside the prison and all the atrocities that he was subjected to. In all probability, the film will not show all the torture and trouble that the man, in real, went through, because it is an unimaginable experience altogether. He says that in spite of that the team has put in a lot of effort to do justice to each of the roles.
Apart from Sarbjit, the audience shall know the struggle that his sister and wife had to go through. The tough times needs to be recognised and respected. To know the story, feel it and perform it was emotionally draining and was hard on the body. After Highway, this film has affected him the most mentally. The film required him to lose 18 kilos in a matter of twenty eight days. Hooda says that this drastic transformation is difficult and also, not advisable- to lose so much health in such a little time is unhealthy. It was purely done because of the demand of the film.
