to play the role of the controversial actor and bring forth his journey from the 80’s till today.
The director has demanded Ranbir to cut off as much as ten kilos for the biopic. It is required to capture the early phase of Sanjay Dutt, where he was lean and thin. The Tamasha actor will have to put on weight to showcase the later phase of Dutt’s life.
Ranbir has agreed to do all the needful work before the film hits the floor this year. The biopic on Sanjay Dutt has been named Dutt and will cover the entire journey of the actor; entry into the film industry, rise, downfall, comeback, trouble, and how he overcame that as well. The two actors meet quite often to discuss the life of Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay’s narration is helping Ranbir understand his body language and his stories better.
