claimed that there is no place in Hollywood for pretty people. The Sweet November actress thinks that times have changed and that people are now having surgeries to look less beautiful. She thinks that the important roles go to the people who are right for such roles in the physical aspect. When it comes to meaty roles, the pretty people were the first ones to be turned down.
The actress received a lot of praise last year, for her role as the strong-willed Imperator Furiosa, in the third installment of the Mad Max movie series, Mad Max – Fury Road. In an interview with GQ Magazine, Theron has expressed her opinion saying that Hollywood treats men like wine because apparently, men look better as they grow, but women have to keep up with unrealistic standards of making themselves look beautiful as they age. Theron has been known for being outspoken, and we love that about her.
Hopefully, her words will have an effect on the people they were directed towards!
