“Cafe Society” To Open Cannes’16.

Veteran Hollywood director Woody Allen’s latest film “Cafe Society will open the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, on the 11th of May. He had inaugurated the festival in the past too- in 2002, with “Hollywood Ending” and then in 2011 with “Midnight in Paris”.

The screening of the film coincides with its release in France, although it is out of the competition title.

The film is a story of a young boy, passionate about acting, who falls in love and finds himself swept up in a society that defines the spirit of age.
