But he did not want her to become an actor, which she felt was strange. As fate would have it, here she is in Kollywood now.

After school, she joined CA classes and was partly successful. When she found it was getting boring, she participated in a beauty pageant and won the title of ‘Miss Coimbatore’, the place where her father had passed away. Then she won the ‘Miss Talent’ in the Miss South India contest. It was then that she realized that she could become an actor as she could perform.

To get trained in acting, she joined a theatre workshop with ‘Yog Jappi’. She first acted in a play and enjoyed it, after which she decided firmly that acting would be her career. She left CA classes for good and got into theatre, storytelling and everything related to acting. She also did a degree in Psychology and worked with a psychotherapist, which also helped her later while acting.

She acted in the first Tamil web series Gnayiru Maalai and it was seeing this that Producer Christy and Bramma called her for an audition. The story moved her and made her empathize with the character Merlin partly. Shooting went on for a year and she had to wear a saree throughout.

Actor Radhika and character Merlin merged into one, she was even terrified of this at times. But when the time came to bid goodbye to Merlin, she was a little sad. Her role as Merlin has enabled her to understand suffering and to empathize with people.

According to Radhika Prasidhha, Bramma is the ideal director for growing actors. They had no idea that KK would get such accolades. Just before the film released, many people from the film world called her and congratulated her on her performance. Director Bharathi Raja told her that she was 1 among the 3 nominated for best actress for the National Award and that she had lost out by just 2 votes. She considers his appreciation the biggest compliment she has received.
