Darshan and Kiccha Sudeep became the first Sandalwood actors who got a name in Forbes’ Top 100 Celebrities of India. While Sudeep got 62nd place Darshan got 65th place. So going by this their salary is also something to reckon with.
Kannada heroines had recently vented that they are given a low salary in Sandalwood. A famous Kannada actress, after a long silence, had also opened up that the KFI is biased in terms of the salary of male and female leads.

The film was made at a whopping budget and the makers of his next films were also considering o produce films of him in a big budget. It was also said that producers very rarely make loss on a Darshan’s film. It is learnt that he got 4.5 crore to 5.5 crores after the success of the film.
