Top 10 Bollywood Movies Which Will Make You Cringe Hindi Article

Actors, directors, producers, and all the people who are involved in the making of a movie are human, and sometimes humans make mistakes. These mistakes lead to a whole list of cringe-worthy films. Be it a bad storyline or poor performance by the actors, everything contributes to giving us a movie that makes us cringe. Some movies are made so badly that we are forced to laugh even in serious scenes. These movies are not all bad, but you would not like to watch them again. Movies are supposed to be impactful to the audience, and below mentioned movies failed to do just that. Here are the Top 10 Bollywood movies which will make you go cringe-

1. Prem Aggan

This movie had to top the list. Released in 1998, this movie was Fardeen Khan’s debut movie. Who knows what the audience saw in the actor that he earned the Filmfare award for Best Male Debut for this movie? The story is about a wealthy industrialist who lives with his wife, son, and daughter. He arranges his daughter’s marriage with his business partner’s son. But the daughter refuses and ruins his plans.

2. English Babu Desi Mem

Shah Rukh Khan has showered us with many gem movies like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Chennai Express, Dear Zindagi, Swadesh, and more. But maybe while choosing this movie, he really wanted to experience something new and different. With a particularly atrocious accent, Shah Rukh played a triple role in the film. This movie can also be a gem, but what kind of gem? You decide.

3. Ajnabee

In 2001, Bollywood released two blockbuster movies which were also narrative game-changers in Bollywood. If you think that ‘Ajnabee’ was one of them, then let us make it clear that you are completely wrong; they were Dil Chahta Hai and Lagaan. Bollywood’s best action hero, Akshay Kumar, is the main lead in this movie, and he earned the Filmfare award for Best Villian. Bipasha Basu, who was playing the role of Akshay’s wife earned a Filmfare award for Best Female Debut.

4. Jia Aur Jia

This movie is already added to cringe-worthy films, but you can also add it to the list of movies you can watch with your best friends. As this movie is about two females starring Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin, who are different from each other but share the same name, ‘Jia’. Together, they try to approach life from a different perspective.

5. Jaani Dushman

If you are a fan of classics like ichhadhari nagin, then you will definitely like this movie. This movie was the debut movie in Sonu Nigam’s acting career. The film starred some famous actors like Akshay Kumar, Armaan Kohli, Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Sharad Kapoor, and more. In this movie, a shape-shifting snake (ichhadhari nagin) seeks vengeance against a group of friends who are wrongly accused of a crime.

6. Sooryavansham

Maybe Amitabh Bachchan, the Big B, thought he was a vampire while performing for this movie. Can you imagine an almost 60-year-old playing a character who is 30-something? If not, you should definitely watch this movie because Amitabh Bachchan plays a dual role in this film where he plays the role of a father and his son. The film was all about honor and love in an Indian family.

7. Suryavanshi

Not to get confused by the title of the above-mentioned movie. But both the films had one thing in common, ‘cringe’. Who does not like superheroes but if you want to see Thor, He-Man, and Hercules in one man, then you should definitely download this movie and watch it. Salman Khan showed us that he can have the powers of three heroes in one man. You might enjoy watching this movie or regret it; who knows? Who does not want some cringe in their life?

8. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

Have you seen this movie? If yes, do I need to say more, huh? We cannot say that the storyline of the film was bad, but 50% of how the movie will turn out depends on the acting of the actors. Everyone who has watched the movie only had one question at the end: what was Kareena Kapoor doing? She gave her full efforts not to do acting but overact.

9. Humshakals

This Sajid Khan film will make you want to smash your head into the wall. The main cast of the film consisted of Saif Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Riteish Deshmukh, Tamannah Bhatia, Bipasha Basu, Ram Kapoor, Satish Shah, and Chunky Panday. Scientists have found that statistically, every person has more or less six look alike or doppelgängers out in the world. The characters in this movie met three of them already and to your surprise, all the doppelgängers share the same name.

10. Himmatwala

Another cringe-worthy movie by none other than, Sajid Khan. This movie was played by Tamannah Bhatia and Ajay Devgn. Sajid Khan tried to make this movie a remake of Jitender and Sridevi’s Himmatwala but failed terribly. Released in 2013, the movie starts when a temple priest commits suicide after he is insulted by an evil landlord. The priest’s son then comes back to his native village on a mission to take revenge on the landlord.

Let us not forget that all these movies were made with the full efforts and hard work of who knows how many people. These movies might be cringed, but they do deserve to get one watch so that the audience can decide for themselves.
