Paa’. In order to portray and fit into the role, Amitabh has to sit hours to get that finite look with the help of makeup prosthetics. Big B gained a lot of appreciation for his impeccable performance in the film. The man behind his look was Stephen Dupuis and he deserves a round of applause for making it possible for Big B to fit into the role.
Greek god Hrithik Roshan donned different avatar in the film ‘
Dhoom 2’. He portrayed the role of an old lady, old man, and dwarf. To work on his looks for the characters, the filmmakers specially hired makeup and hair artist SjaanGillings. The makeup technician using prosthetics transformed Hrithik to fit into different shades of his character. In Krrish movie too Hrithik wanted to fit into the character of aged Rohan.

Fan’ changed his physical outlook to fit into the role of Gaurav Chadana. The man who worked for his looks in the movie was
Greg Cannom. Greg made king khan sit for 5 hours to get into the skin of the role. SRK was made to apply filler to eyebrows, inserted plumper’s in his mouth and taped the face to get the look. The outcome of the look was stunning and kudos to the makeup man who did a phenomenal job to make SRK look half of his age.
In the film, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ Rishi Kapoor played the role of a 90-year old man. To get into the age and character in the movie, Rishi Kapoor was made to don prosthetics for the role. The makeup technician who did this great job is Greg Cannom. It is said that the makers paid a whooping amount of Rs 2 crore to Greg to get the realistic look.
Actor Sikandar Kher played dual roles in the flick ‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive’. To get into the skin of character of white skin American, Sikandar has to don prosthetics for the role of David a Hollywood producer. It was very difficult to recognize Sikandar in the role of white skinned American. All credit goes to the make-up artist who made him sport the look.
King of Comedy Govinda sport many get-ups in comedy genre film ‘Hadh Kar Di Apne’. He played an old man, old woman, father, Chinese, Maharashtrian, and Sardar. The make-up artist who helped Govinda to get the look was Ramesh Mohate and Pradeep Premgirikir.
Kamal Haasan donned different avatar for his films like
Chachi 420 and Hindustani. Make-up artists Barry Koper Michael Westmore and Karthik did a great job to make Kamal Haasan look as an aged nanny in the film ‘Chachi 420’. In the Hindustani movie, Kamal Haasan played the role of a freedom fighter that turns into Vigilante man to uproot issue of corruption. In Dasavatharam film Kamal experimented with ten different characters.
In the film, Badhai Hi Badhai Anil Kapoor played the role of an obese guy. As a fat man, Anil Kapoor transformed with the help of a lot of prosthetics just to fit into the character. But the film failed abruptly at the box-office.
In the superhero film Zokkomon, seasoned actor Anupam Kher had don prosthetics look for the dual character played by him in the film. A make-up expert from France named as Guillaume was hired and his team did a great job to make Anupam fit into the role.
For his film 31st October Vir Das had made the transformation of looking like a 60-year old man in the movie. The outcome of his look was unbelievable and to achieve this desired look 3-4 make-up artist were hired by filmmakers to make Vir Das fit into the look. Heavy Prosthetics were used to get the realistic look.
