Sriti was born in Bihar, in Begusarai on the 26th of February, in the year 1986. A while after her birth, her family decided to shift to Kolkata for 10 years, where she finished her schooling. They then shifted to Kathmandu, Nepal, where she studied in the Modern Indian School. A few years later they shifted back to India, in Delhi, where Sriti enrolled herself in Laxman Public School. Her native place is Darbhanga and is lovingly called Jhalli by her near and dear ones.

3. The Dramatics Society

After she finished her school years, she enrolled in the Sri Venkateswara College in Delhi to study English (H), then in 2004, she joined Verbum, which was the English dramatics society. She remained active in the society until she became the society’s president.

4. Ritual In Blood

The actress worked in many plays after she joined the dramatics society, but her first most prominent role was for a called Ritual In Blood, which was a Steven Berkoff creation, and had been set in England of 13th century.
