Agha Hashar Kashmiri was born on 03 April 1879. He was an Urdu poet, writer, and screenwriter. More of his dramas were Indian Shakespearean modifications. Agha Hashar Kashmiri was his executive name. He was born in Benares State, British India. He began to seem interested in platform plays, went to Mumbai at fourteen, and began his occupation as a writer there.

Agha Hashar Kashmiri's first drama, Aftab-e-Muhabbat, was announced in 1897. He started his executive job as a playwright for the New Alfred Drama Company in Mumbai on a monthly payment of only Rs. 15. Mureed-e-Shak, his first drama, changed Shakespeare's drama The Winter's Tale. It showed victory, and his pay was then increased to Rs. 40 monthly because of his rising popularity. In his plays, Agha learned to introduce little albums and acts with expression and lyric merit in dramas.

He later wrote many more modifications of Shakespeare's dramas, like Shaheed-e-Naaz, Measure for Measure, and Shabeed-e-Havas. Yahudi Ki Ladki, announced in 1913, grows his well-known drama.
