After her triumph in the late 1960s, she married famous director Hassan Tariq, with whom she had a daughter, Rabia. Due to a dispute, Hassan Tariq divorced Rani Begum in the late 1970s. She then married producer Mian Javed Qamar, who divorced her when it was believed that Rani Begum had cancer. During her surgery in London, UK, she met very popular cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz. Rani Begum helped Sarfraz in his election crusade in the late 1980s. But the affair also did not last long, and they separated. Rani Begum and her mother were buried in Lahore in Muslim Town Cemetery.
