He is the founder and head of Sirisuns Entertainment (2003), a Telangana-based company that produces television content, and movies under the banner of Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. Vikram’s mother, Sirisha Lagadapati is also the co-founder and partner of Sirisuns Entertainment. Vikram has a younger sibling named Prashant Gaurav. The family resides in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

The child prodigy kick-started his acting career with Telugu movies like Viyyalavari Kayyalu (2007) and Sneha Geetham (2010) produced by his father’s production house, Larsco Entertainment ( later changed to Sirisuns Entertainment). Although the child Vikram was noticed on screen, he couldn’t claim any commercial success. Sridhar narrated in a matter-of-fact attitude that Surender called Vikram for the auditions and the next thing he did was watch the first day, the first show of his son’s performance and was thoroughly impressed. Race Gurram was a game-changer for Vikram on several fronts. The film not only won three National Filmfare Awards but set out to bag the highest grossing film of the year 2014. It put Vikram, who essayed the role of child Allu Arjun in the movie, into the immediate spotlight. It is commendable to note that Vikram was just a 7th standard kid juggling school and shooting sets when he was acting in Race Gurram.
