Sridhar Lagadapati is a producer of Indian origin. He was born in Nellore in Andhra Pradesh on June 14, 1968. He works in the Telugu film and television industry. He has studied at Loyola Public School in Guntur. He went to Siddharth Arts College for his graduation. Later he studied engineering at the Siddaganga Institute of Technology. He pursued a Master’s degree in Construction Management at Eastern Michigan University in the United States. After his return to India, he married Sirisha in 1995 Sridhar is the head and founder of Sirisuns Entertainment (previously known as Larsco Entertainment), a company located in Hyderabad, India.
His wife, Sirisha Lagadapati, is also a co-founder and partner in the company. Sridhar was previously a co-founder of Lanco Infratech Ltd., in which he was the Joint Managing Director and later the Vice Chairman of the group. Despite his focus on Sirisuns Entertainment, he remains a key executive and promoter of Lanco Infratech and a Director in several of its subsidiary companies. In 2003, Sridhar and Sirisha established Sirisuns Entertainment. They reside in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad with their two sons. Sridhar is also involved in several charitable organizations.
He serves as a trustee of LIGHT - Lanco Institute of General & Humanitarian Trust, now known as Lanco Foundation, and is the Managing Trustee of Sri Prasahi Charities, which was founded by him and his wife Sirisha. Sirisuns Entertainment focuses on modern and innovative cinema. It produces films under the banner of Ramalakshmi Cine Creations, and its logo of a mother and child represents the contentment that the company aims to bring to its audiences. Over the years, Sirisuns Entertainment has become a well-known and successful production house in the Telugu film industry.
The films produced by the production house include Naa Peru Surya ( 2018), Latchiyam (2006), Potugadu (2013), Jhoomo Nacho Gao Yaron ( 2018), Style (2006), Evadi Gola Vaadidhi (2005), Evadu Thakkuva Kaadu (2019), Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini ( 2015), Viyyalavari Kayyalu (2007), and Sikandar (2014) among others. The film Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini (2015) won the Best Romantic Film Award at the Jaipur International Film Festival in 2016. Snehageetham (2010) received recognition at the AP State Nandi Awards with Pranavi winning Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the song Sarigama-padani.
