His friends, Shyamprasad, Sai, and Prabhu, in specific, were responsible for motivating him to take up acting as his career.

Venkata Shyamprasad gave a new look to S.P. Entertainment to promote his friend, Venu in his initial days. The other two friends were mainly focussed on managing his schedules, in planning his day and improvising him in every possible aspect. His debut movie, co-starring Laya, Swayamvaram; under S.P.
