When he already developed his passion for acting, the said project was shelved. Havish then decided to work for his dad in KL University. A year later, he received another offer to do a Hindi film, so he went back to Hyderabad. However, the project got shelved once again. But Havish is willing to try it on his own. He met some producers, directors and agents and even auditioned for small roles until someone told him that Usha Kiran is looking for new talents. He met them, and he was sent to director Ravi Babu, who subsequently auditioned him and made him the lead in the romantic comedy film, Nuvvila in 2011. After that, he was approached to play the main lead in the Telugu film, Genius, which was helmed by Anchor Omkar in 2012. They also announced another film entitled Vasta Nee Venuka, which features Amala Paul in the lead female role. However, it was stalled, and the actress got married. Later, Kiran approached him again and narrated the story of his third film entitled Ram Leela, which also stars Abhijeet Duddala and Nanditha Raj in the lead roles. This film is a commercial entertainer, which was shot in Malaysia and US.

As of now, he doesn’t have any projects at hand. He is waiting for an interesting and inspiring character. Havish said that he doesn’t need to be present in the entire film, and it doesn’t matter if his character is short, if he likes it, he will definitely do it. When not doing films, he is busy managing his father’s learning institution. He also doesn’t want to mix films with business and stated that when he’s doing films, he concentrates on it until it gets finished. Havish is also waiting to resume the shoot of Vasta Nee Venuka, with another female lead.
