Laya

Laya is a renowned actress, having done numerous projects in multiple languages. She was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, whose father was a doctor and mother a high school music teacher. She has been married to her spouse, Dr. Sri Ganesh Gorty, since 2006. She has a daughter named Sloka Gorty and son, Vachan Gorty. Her talent does not end at acting alone. She is a skilled stage performer in the category of classical dancing and has taken to the stage frequently during her childhood days. In addition to this, she was also a state level chess player. Her debut film was as a child artist in the film 'Bhadram Koduko' (1992).
