Virinchi Varma was born in Siddhapuram near Bhimavaram. He realized his interest in literature at very early age and completed his intermediate from Bhimavaram. During his school years, he liked to read books about Sri Gopichand, Chalam, Thilak, etc. among which his favorite is Ilayaraja's music. After his school days were over, he shifted to Hyderabad. It was here that he realized that he wanted to work in film industry.

This decision was a result of him watching Sagara Sangamam, Sithara and few other films on television. First shown in the cinemas on 23rd September 2016 with actors Anu and Nani in lead roles this film was also a hit giving Mr. Varma a great start in his career. The movie was based on the love story of a boy who has had a recent breakup but then wins over his love lately.
